November has been a whirl wind of planning, packing, and celebrations...

Chili Cook off and Bon Fire at the Peterson's House

We finally figured out why Benjamin would not keep shoes on his feet...He has a wide foot!

After we put on shoes that fit his foot he started clapping!

Our final big house project...Painting the exterior

This was a much more difficult decision then we had expected

Our neighbor is a personal color consultant and she helped us pick out our colors

We had 4 different grays on the house at one time trying to pick the perfect color

This is the house almost finished - Still need to get some house numbers

Our neighbors have enjoyed watching our house go from a vacant foreclosure

to a house that is getting some much needed TLC!

November 20th - Our sweet Benjamin turned 1

There are a lot of things that happen when you turn one...

Then we hit the road at 7:30 PM that night to drive to Kingsport

We took this tip from our friends who also drive to east TN

8 hrs in a car is a lot easier with a sleeping baby : )

I sewed this banner for Benjamin's birthday and displayed the monthly photos 

My mom couldn't resist making a special cake for Benjamin

She always did that for us growing up : )
