A December to Remember

There are many things for which I am thankful for this year and
these ladies and their sweet babies are one of them!

Benjamin has transitioned well into his big brother role this month.
He loves to hold and kiss on Hannah...

...and tickle her tiny toes.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck had a log splitter?
All this wood is from our trees we had cut down last year

Thankful to have a warm fire going on these cold days

What buildings look like when I play blocks with Benjamin...

What buildings look like when Frank plays blocks with Benjamin.
Can you tell which one of us is an engineer? LOL

Fun times with friends

Learning how to play together and share

Frank had a great idea to use beans to teach Benjamin all the different functions of his new tractors

Leaf pick-up day was quite exciting at the Roberts house!

Now he loves to put leafs in his trucks too

Our baby girl turned one month

Already holding her head up like a champ

and making sweet smiles : )

I made these simmer pots as gifts for our neighbors.
You keep it on the stove on simmer and it makes your house smell like Christmas!
Ingredients Per Jar:
1/2 sliced orange
1/2 sliced lemon
2 cinnamon sticks
1 Tbs whole cloves
2 bay leaves
Fill jar with water

I also made Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sticks for a cookie swap

After one ride on the 4-wheeler Benjamin wants to get on it every time Frank goes hunting

Roberts' Meat Processing
We are thankful for meat in our freezer for 2014!

We added a Moravian star to our Christmas decorations this year as a representation of the star of Bethlehem. Thanks mom and dad!

Shelby Farms Starry Nights

Frank is always finding new ways to make Benjamin laugh. I can't imagine what our neighbors were thinking..."Poor Roberts can't afford a wagon..." LOL

Good thing Benjamin got one for Christmas from Mimi and Grandy : )

Christmas PJ's

Sweet treat for Christmas breakfast

Someone was excited to finally open all his presents!

Hanging out with Josh and Michele

Nana and Hannah have matching outfits

A singing Santa... I can only imagine what Benjamin was thinking in this picture!

Mamaw and Papaw

My parents got another visit in before the new year.
The road is always short between grandparents and their grandkids.

Opening presents from Mimi and Grandy

The bunk beds are coming together nicely...
I told you my dad needed more clamps for Christmas : )

2nd Annual "Clean out your fridge" Neighborhood party
We are thankful to have such wonderful neighbors and have continued the tradition of hosting a potluck between Christmas and the New Year.

Just to keep it real...Here is a picture of my dirty dishes : )
Hope this blesses your heart!
Happy New Year!!
