Woke up to snow covered streets at the beginning of this month
Benjamin was a little more curious this time about all the "white stuff"
He even stepped in the snow
and took a little walk...
...then had a melt down : )
Tolerating 60 seconds in the snow is an improvement from last month!
We have all enjoyed warming up by the fire
Hannah is enjoying tummy time more these days
and even starting to "play" with the hanging toys.
Benjamin and Reese working hard at the Bellevue Loves Memphis clean up for
Chimney Rock Elementary
These two have been buds since the beginning…
After 2 years their expressions haven't changed much
We love Big Truck Friday's!
Benjamin's first "big boy" haircut at the barber shop
It was a little traumatic at first…
…but M&M's made it more tolerable
Thanks Louis for being so patient!
This was a pinterest recipe I found that was a winner.
Frank said they were the BEST fish tacos he has EVER had - No joke!
Check out the recipe here: http://onecaketwocake.com/2010/08/14/tilapia-tacos/
This month we said "good bye" to our cat Marley…
...and said "hello" to three rabbits.
Jacob and Rachel
Benjamin enjoys feeding Leah.
She is pregnant and having babies this week!
Yes, Rachel is the "pretty" one that Jacob loves and Leah is the "pregnant" one
**Just a little Bible Humor**
Only an engineer would use graph paper to plan out his garden (to scale)
Growing sweet potato slips to plant
Building the picket fence around the garden
Like father…
Like son.
First Signs of Spring
This has been a very productive month on the project front
Benjamin is always "hanging around" while Frank works outside
He now has his own hammer and tape measure to "help"
Got a few trees down in the back yard so we can now put down sod.
Marley Update:
Although Marley had been with our family for 6 years he was needing a
little more love and attention then I could give him.
He has found a new home with a sweet couple on the Kentucky Lake
He now has a sweet kitty friend and a large sun porch.
Happy baby! 4 Months Old!
Just to keep it real - This is how most of the photo session went.
It took 100+ pictures, 60+ minutes, and sending Benjamin to time out twice to get the above "pretty" photos.
Hannah's Gerber Baby face
I might submit her picture for their annual contest.
We could win $25K towards her college tuition!
This girl has so many expressions
My favorite is her pouty lip…how are we ever going to say "No" to that face?!
Where's Hannah?
Benjamin's "happy dance" when I told him we were going to see his friends
They look forward to date night it as much as we do!
By the end of March we were able to get out and enjoy the warmer weather at the zoo…
at the park...
have picnics at the Botanic Gardens...
...and in the front yard!
We always enjoy visiting with Aunt Michele.
I think Hannah is going to look a lot like her as she grows up!
Benjamin and Papaw
We love to face time with my parents!
Can't way to see them for Easter!!!
What is wrong with this picture?
It got a little too quiet while I was cooking dinner and Benjamin doing this...
At least he likes to help clean up!
Love those sweet cheeks
Hannah has started to have her own play dates
Camdyn (above)
Flannery (below)
Benjamin is starting to hug his friends goodbye
I would describe them as intense but sweet.
He is getting better at not falling over at the end - lol
