Mr. Lion stealing a kiss : )
This Month: 2 more teeth, happy boy, great sleeper, standing on own at times, and weaned
If grocery shopping with three kids isn't crazy enough...how about shopping with three sets of birthday balloons. Let the celebrations begin!
Date night birthday party
Inside bouncy house, cupcakes, coloring, and lots of fun!

I turn around and my first born is five!
Time slow down
Wild Kratts birthday cake
"Happy Birthday to you...and you...and you"
With all three kids having birthdays within two weeks you just have one BIG party!
Benjamin got a Wild Kratt power suit which has been fun on creature adventures at the park
Hannah got a princess dress up box
3 going on 13
It was beautiful to watch our friend Madison baptized this month
I am confident that He who began a good work in her will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. May you love the Lord and serve Him all the days of your life : )
What do you do when daylight savings comes and it gets dark at 5pm?!
Go on a flashlight stick and track hunt - it was a hit!
Two silly peas in a pod
She is such a good big sister
This month we spent many fall afternoons at Chickasaw Park
Our park adventures have included:
Tree climbing, picnic lunch, watching the ducks, ball kicking, and bike riding
Tractor. Dirt. Digging. All. Boy.
If you can't find Benjamin he is probably climbing the nearest tree

"Look Mommy, I built a chimney like the workers outside"
Judah playing at the park
Such a happy boy!
Look who's taking a bottle with milk now...had to wean him before our trip out West.
My parents came in town for Thanksgiving and watched the kids while we were in New Mexico for our ten year anniversary trip.
The kids had fun playing, digging, going to the park, decorating cookies, spending the night at a friends house, and enjoyed spending time with their grandparents.
A BIG thanks to Nana and Pops who helped give my parents some respite during the week!
Benjamin and Hannah at CMOM
Initially my thought about going on a 15 hour road trip was that it was just a means to an end
but I found that it's as much about the journey as it is the destination
Frank and I enjoyed watching the ever-changing landscape out West and having uninterrupted conversation (which rarely happens at home)
Our airbnb casita that we called home for a week
There is no one else with whom I would wake up at 4am, drive an hour through a icy/snowy mountain, then climb up a snowy mountain to go hunting : )
Hiking up the mountain to get in position
It was a white out blizzard and temperature in single digits a couple of mornings
About 300 elk in the scope cross-hairs
Too bad they were on the other side of the mountain : (
As the sun would rise over the mountains it was breathtaking...
Literally. At 8,000+ feet elevation we were short of breath just walking!
Post-hunt huddle
We got to meet some great people on our trip.
Thanks Shelbie for letting me borrow your camo!
After three early mornings of hunting I decided to stay back at the casita.
Built a fire, listened to worship music, read my Bible, journaled, blogged, and prayed...
had such a needed and refreshing time with the Lord!
Being silly in the local shops
(But seriously, who would buy this?!)
Over a series of several hunts Frank saw hundreds of elk but unfortunately they were not on our property. One of the other hunters graciously gave us half his elk so we did not come home empty-handed. Thanks Rodney for the amazing opportunity to hunt on your land!
After ten years he's still my favorite : )
We took a day to ski which was Frank's first time.
He picked it up quickly and we thankfully had no injuries.
Ski-lift selfie
(Check out that awesome 'no-shave November' beard)
Meanwhile back in Memphis...
Cookie decorating with Mimi and Grandy
We enjoyed getting to FaceTime with our kids while we have been in NM.
Can't wait to be home tomorrow and have some real Face Time : )
