February 2018

We had a 100's party with a couple homeschool friends to celebrate 100 days of Kindergarten finished! I'm so proud of Benjamin and the way he has worked hard this year.

Competition to see who could build a tower with 100 cups

What Benjamin will look like when he's 100 years old - Ha!
(using agingbooth app)

Maybe he doesn't look 100...but he really is growing up!

Little brother wants to be just like him and is growing up fast too!

Two things that will hold Judah's attention: Legos and Dinosaur books

"Made tower made tower!"
Looks like Judah got the engineering gene just like Benjamin

Hannah has taken her tea parties to the next level.
Teddy bears, tutu's, bows, and Bethany : )

We enjoyed playing outside during a few warmer days this month which was a nice break from the cold dreary days of winter. So ready for SPRING!

Our little budding artist

Hannah had a friend date with Corrie Ann
We went to Chick-fil-A and then did valentines crafts while eating cupcakes at Muddy's

I got a friend date out of it too ; )

I think I had twins 4 years apart

Happy 5 months to our little peanut

Monthly photo out-take (forgot the chalkboard - Oops!)
But made for a cute pic

Bethany loves playing with her toes!

My lap and heart is full - love getting to be home with them!

I tried a practical idea for teaching kids to use kind words from a Missional Motherhood blog post HERE. The kids built a beautiful castle using sugar cubes as we talked about making our words
"sweet like honey" to build each other up.

If they spoke an unkind word then they would have to take a cube off the castle as a reminder of how unkind words tear down. I wish I could report that our castle is still intact however it was dismantled over the last couple of weeks. I still consider it a win as it has given us great visual on how our words can build up or tear down.

Our middle two - always full of giggles

Our oldest and youngest
Even though they are six years apart in age the love bond is strong

We have done our weekly "babyswap" for over six years and now. These 12 kids are more like brothers and sister than just friends. We might have to change the name to "kidswap": )

We promoted our new business Quonset Studios this month by having a contest for local artist to win a free studio for a year. We had a GREAT response and enjoyed reading all the creative entries.
We are proud to give local artist a place to collaborate and create!
