Growing Up...

Spring is in full bloom!

We had seven baby bunnies born April 1st

After just a few weeks they have grown so much!

So have our sweet potato slips

All of our seeds have been planted in the garden and are already sprouting!

Look who else is growing up!
Hannah is 5 Months Old

April has been FULL of firsts!
Hannah's First Rice Cereal

First "slip and slide"

First time swinging at the park

First time feeding the koi at the Memphis Botanic Gardens

My First Applique'

First time helping to make Saturday morning pancakes

Hannah's first time sitting in a highchair while out to eat
***Followed by her first MASSIVE diaper blowout ***
Unfortunately the restaurant did not have a changing table in the bathroom.
Fortunately for me I had packed another outfit and had my mom to help : )

Who me?! I would never do that…

These two are becoming good friends

Watching for Frank to come home from work

Love!

That's how we roll

He asks to paint every day

Benjamin's Moto:
Work Hard...

Play Harder!

What is cuter than little people eating together?

Three little people eating together who are all the same age!
Eli, Benjamin, and Brady were all born the same week in Nov 2011

Dylan and Benjamin
Neighbors and Best Buds!

Finally warm enough for water play outside

Easter Egg hunt with the kids

Benjamin was proud of his yellow eggs

They loved getting to pet a baby bunny

The Roberts at Easter

My parents came in town and we had a great time!

Hannah and Benjamin enjoyed lots of extra love and kisses from Mimi and Grandy!

My dad built amazing bunk beds for Benjamin

He LOVES his new "big boy" bed!

We changed the toddler bed back into a crib for Hannah
(which my dad also built)

Looking forward to seeing the ocean again in May!

2 Kids, 3 Rabbits, and a Garden

Woke up to snow covered streets at the beginning of this month

Benjamin was a little more curious this time about all the "white stuff"

He even stepped in the snow

and took a little walk...

...then had a melt down : )
Tolerating 60 seconds in the snow is an improvement from last month!

We have all enjoyed warming up by the fire

Hannah is enjoying tummy time more these days

and even starting to "play" with the hanging toys.

Benjamin and Reese working hard at the Bellevue Loves Memphis clean up for
Chimney Rock Elementary

These two have been buds since the beginning…
After 2 years their expressions haven't changed much

We love Big Truck Friday's!

Benjamin's first "big boy" haircut at the barber shop
It was a little traumatic at first…

…but M&M's made it more tolerable

Thanks Louis for being so patient!

This was a pinterest recipe I found that was a winner.
Frank said they were the BEST fish tacos he has EVER had - No joke!

This month we said "good bye" to our cat Marley…
...and said "hello" to three rabbits.

Jacob and Rachel

Benjamin enjoys feeding Leah.
She is pregnant and having babies this week!
Yes, Rachel is the "pretty" one that Jacob loves and Leah is the "pregnant" one
**Just a little Bible Humor**

Only an engineer would use graph paper to plan out his garden (to scale)

Growing sweet potato slips to plant

Building the picket fence around the garden

Like father…

Like son.

First Signs of Spring

This has been a very productive month on the project front

Benjamin is always "hanging around" while Frank works outside

He now has his own hammer and tape measure to "help"

Got a few trees down in the back yard so we can now put down sod.

Marley Update:
Although Marley had been with our family for 6 years he was needing a
little more love and attention then I could give him.
He has found a new home with a sweet couple on the Kentucky Lake
He now has a sweet kitty friend and a large sun porch.

Happy baby! 4 Months Old!

Just to keep it real - This is how most of the photo session went.
It took 100+ pictures, 60+ minutes, and sending Benjamin to time out twice to get the above "pretty" photos.

Hannah's Gerber Baby face
I might submit her picture for their annual contest.
We could win $25K towards her college tuition!

This girl has so many expressions
My favorite is her pouty lip…how are we ever going to say "No" to that face?!

Where's Hannah?

Benjamin's "happy dance" when I told him we were going to see his friends

They look forward to date night it as much as we do!

By the end of March we were able to get out and enjoy the warmer weather at the zoo…

at the park...

have picnics at the Botanic Gardens...

...and in the front yard!

We always enjoy visiting with Aunt Michele.
I think Hannah is going to look a lot like her as she grows up!

Benjamin and Papaw

We love to face time with my parents!
Can't way to see them for Easter!!!

What is wrong with this picture?

It got a little too quiet while I was cooking dinner and Benjamin doing this...

At least he likes to help clean up!

Love those sweet cheeks

Hannah has started to have her own play dates

Flannery (below)

Benjamin is starting to hug his friends goodbye
I would describe them as intense but sweet.
He is getting better at not falling over at the end - lol
