October

October has flown by! I can't believe this is my last blog post as a family of three!
Here are some of the highlights from this month...

Benjamin is always trying to walk in Daddy's shoes

We had a creepy visitor this month in our yard. Yikes!

Frank continues to work around the house.
He got the electrical line buried going to the guest house.

Excited to get some grass growing where those huge trees were taken down last year!

Frank on his way to the truck for a night hunt

Benjamin's First Donut
To say he loved donuts would be an understatement. He held his last donut hole in his hand for 5 min and wouldn't eat it or put it down. Finally I told him we could save it for later and he allowed me to put it in a napkin to take with us. Too cute!

Did I mention he had his first sweet tea too?! Oh my!

At the pumpkin patch

Pumpkin decorating

Frank did a Pinterest idea with a twist. He used his drill to make holes but instead of making a "cute" pattern he designed the constellation Orion.

Our little pumpkin family

Our Life Group from church had a Fall Fest Worship Night

I love to watch these kiddos hang out together

Chili contest judges

Bobbitt won (on the left) and I got runner up for the second year in a row (on the right)
Next year I'm going to spice it up a little more!

Justin and Matt led our class in a sweet time of worship

A collection from a "nature walk" Benjamin and I took around our neighborhood.
I love this fall weather!

Benjamin enjoyed painting the leaves all the fall colors

We love Ms. Sarah!

The first thing Benjamin does when we go outside is pick up a hammer and start banging away on the closest piece of wood.

One last pony ride before bed time

Lunch on the porch

Your mom might be an Occupational Therapist if...
Great sensory and fine motor activity to keep little hands busy while I cook dinner

Always a new adventure to discover at the Children's Museum and the park

While I was in the kitchen Benjamin figured out how click on the slide show I made for our anniversary this year. He LOVES listening to the music and pointing at the pictures of "Daddy".

Beautiful weather for a Zoo trip with Nana and Pops.

This is our neighbor friend, Dylan. We go to the Zoo every Monday together. During this visit they wanted to hold hand while strolling. LOL

Benjamin has really been into monkeys this month so I brought my video camera to the zoo because I was sure he would do something cute...
He did but unfortunately he was more interested in the balls than the monkeys!
LOL

Hanging out with his friend Reece

When did this happen?

38 Weeks
Next month's blog I will be posting pictures of Hannah! Stay tuned!

My dad is building Benjamin's bunk beds. Can you believe that he used ALL his clamps and even had to borrow a few? I have been getting my dad clamps for all the holidays since I was little : )
Guess what my dad wants this Christmas? MORE CLAMPS
As he says..."A man can never have too many clamps"

I made a superman shirt with a "B" for Benjamin.
I wasn't sure what he would think about the cape but he wore it all day long!

This picture has not been edited.
Frank threw him in the air and I caught the perfect flying Benjamin!

Benjamin LOVED handing out the candy although some of the costumes were a little frightening.
After we ran out of candy we walked around and visited some neighbors.
It was a nice evening together.

The best part of my October has been wearing these shoes!
That might sound crazy but I have not worn heels for 4 years! I have a Morton's Neuroma (painful inflamed nerve) in my right foot that has prevented me from wearing any shoes with a heel because it puts too much pressure on the nerve causing extreme 10/10 pain. After no pain relief using pain patches and injections the doctors told me that surgery was my only option. Since then I have adapted all my shoe wear to only flats, which keeps my chronic nerve pain level down to about a 3/10.
So what changed? ZIJA! I heard about this amazing superfood from the moringa plant that is packed with 90+ verifiable, cell-ready vitamins, minerals, vital proteins, antioxidants, and omega oils. It also has 36 natural anti-inflammatories, which piqued my interest. I was very skeptical but figured it couldn't hurt and decided to take the 30 day trial. After two weeks I got to wear my cute LL Bean rain boots and on day 25 I wore my first pair of heels to church!
My pain level has been ZERO for the first time in 4 years!
 I'm a believer : )
Let me know if you're interested in taking a 30 day trial (money back guarantee) or want know more. Just send me a message on Facebook!
