Benjamin's daily chore is to feed Valkyrie and Marley
He is very particular making sure each piece gets on the step or in the bowl
He even waters the plants...as well as the brick, driveway, and his shoes : )
I'm thankful to have a big helper!
Frank has made huge strides installing the siding on the guest house this month.
He had to build scaffolding to safely repair and replace the facia and soffits
It is now hunting season so although the exterior of the garage will get finished before the baby arrives Frank won't be working every night.
Latest pics of my "stockpile" from couponing. I would not consider myself an "extreme couponer" because I only buy items that we actually use. Everything in the picture has been more than 50% off or sometimes even FREE! It has been exciting to shop the deals with coupons and leave CVS with 4 bags of goods and only pay 5 cents out of pocket! True story!
This receipt shows just how much I have saved at CVS alone!
I do just a few things each week (during Benjamin's nap time) and save our family lots of $$$
- Print from Coupons.com
- Clip coupons from the Sunday Newspaper
- Check out these websites: http://thekrazycouponlady.com & http://hip2save.com & http://www.iheartkroger.com which match the stores deals with the coupons for you
- Keep everything organized in my envelope system made by my sister-in-law Brandy
- Make my shopping list based on deals/coupons and GO!
Benjamin is into animals right now - I created a matching game (above) that he is learning. Unfortunately he thinks most of the animals say "Moo"
Modern day Noah's Ark?
He has also taken a new liking to wearing his book bag
Still trying to figure out how to take it off : )
Thankfully Marley is very tolerant of Benjamin's "games"
On a day that I was having terrible double sciatic nerve pain I made a game outside. Fill up the pans with water, stir it with a spoon, and then dump it out (repeat). This literally kept him busy for an hour which made for one happy momma!
"Where are we going?"
"The Zoo!"
Benjamin is more aware of his surroundings when we are in the car and will start laughing, clapping, and smiling when we near the zoo, park, CMOM, or church.
Fun at the Children's Museum with Nana (Frank's mom) on Tuesday mornings
Playing with friends
Building another tower...
With a little help from daddy of course : )
Almost looks like he is really playing : )
Errands are always more fun in a car!
Video of Benjamin looking out the window saying "where's daddy?" then looks at me and says (in a sweet British accent) "I want daddy"
Climbing to new heights
Benjamin's first popsicle at the Hill's house.
Not too thrilled about the flavor...
...but he does love ice cream!
I said "smile for daddy" and this is what I got. Precious!
Benjamin knows we read the Bible before bed.
He will run into his room and say "Bible" and point up on the shelf : )
Such a sweet time together.
Breakfast with the Hill's girls the morning Michelle went into labor
We are excited for Brad and Michelle having a healthy baby boy!
Colton Joseph Hill
Baby shower for Heather Mullins
We took a weekend trip to our friends cabin for a short get away.
The guys cooked (in the rain)...
and even cleaned up...

3 Baby Bumps
Due Oct - Nov - Jan
All Baby Girls!
At our first fishing hole we basically fed the fish our bait
But then we found a better pond. For about 30 minutes we were catching bass and brim every time we put our line in!
Although there is no photo documentation...I did catch a bass. Unfortunately the picture got deleted (sad day). I guess we will just have to go again soon!
Our good friends Shawn and Christinann were super sweet and watched Benjamin while we were gone. They piled up the 4 kiddos in a double stroller for the zoo Saturday. Kate recently called Benjamin her "cousin". Too cute!
Shawn was playing with his new iPhone 5S and made this funny slow mo video
Benjamin loves Corrie Ann...won't be long until he has his own baby sister!
33 Weeks
Won't be long at all!
Look how much his profile has changed in just 6 months!
Cherishing my one on one time with this little man before Hannah's arrival.
I know he will be glad to have a play mate : )
