This month we have been working on Benjamin using "kind words". He has practiced saying Proverbs 16:24 "Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body." (He pronounces body as "potty" - lol). Any time he speaks kind words (without prompting) we celebrate and write it on a honeycomb and put it on our board. This has had a significant impact on his words and overall attitude. My favorites: "Hannah, want to play with my tower?" & "Thank you for dinner Mommy."
"Mommy, I picked you a flower."
I didn't tell him it was really a mushroom : )
Nothing sweeter than a mommy sandwich
Benjamin is doing well at painting in the lines
Hannah is doing well at eating my grocery list.
That's what I get for not bringing snacks into Target.
Thanks Mimi for new footed PJ's!

What a difference two years can make!
Met a good friend and her sweet daughter at Overton Park.
Mandi and I were pregnant at the same time three years ago.
It's been fun to watch them grow up!
Climbing to new heights at the park this month
Got to the top of the rope ladder with just a little help
To infinity and beyond...
Probably not the best activity to do after a picnic lunch - ha
Park Adventures with Dylan
Benjamin -"Look! It's Daddy!"
Time to harvest the sweet potatoes
Guess I will be making sweet potato casserole for Thanksgiving...and every other day of the year!
Broccoli is starting to grow
A boy and his dog
I know it looks terrible in a snapshot, but Valkyrie will jump and "tag"
Benjamin's hand without biting. She would never hurt him.
He was laughing and saying "more more!"
Star gazing
Isaiah 40:26 "Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens; Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of His great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing."
Sibling Love
Our little pumpkin is 11 months and climbing stairs
At the pumpkin patch
I put the glue on the back and Benjamin placed all the parts.
I was impressed - although the her eyebrows are a little disheveled : )
Halloween costume fail
I thought getting a tiger suit would be a home run. It's his favorite color, orange (much to our dismay) and he LOVES to roar like a tiger. We even had his friends put it on and that didn't help.
He opted to be Super Benjamin again - glad it still fits!
Cutest. Strawberry. Ever.
I made this plate and I'm excited to use it next month as Hannah and Benjamin have birthdays! My parents and Michael/Brandy are coming to Memphis to help us celebrate! Can't wait!
