August Highlights

Our life group ended the summer with a party at Thorton's Pool which is more like a small manmade lake with waterfalls, rope swings, and a diving board!
We love doing life with these families : )

Benjamin's favorite part was swinging off the rope and swimming to the platform in the middle

where the guys got to show their strength and throw each other off - Ha!

Even after having 4 babies this Mama can still flip!

Several families hit up McAlisters afterwards for lunch because KIDS EAT FREE on Saturdays. That's what I call WINNING!

It was fun to visit with the Finfrock's while they were in town from California

Aunt Michele and cousin Peter

Nana and Pops with all their grandkids

Papaw turned 99 and Mamaw 95 this month!
They are truly amazing and we are blessed by their legacy

I'm so thankful that our kids are making such special memories by spending time with them

Benjamin has Papaw's heart <3

Got a quick pic of my kids on a random afternoon
I can't believe they are about to be 1, 3, 5, and 7!

Bethany is almost ONE and is pulling up and cruising the furniture

Judah had reached new heights this month and has been extra curious, getting into everything around the house! He keeps me on my toes.

Hannah is four our going on fourteen

Our firstborn is now in 1st grade

First day of school traditions include pancakes for breakfast (with sprinkles of course)

One last hug before going off to his first class day at his Veritas homeschool class

Benjamin loves math, science, and art

This is our favorite picture he drew this month from the ArtHub instructional videos

Judah and Hannah's first day at St. Johns PDO

Soaking up the last days of summer with snocones at the splash pad

Hannah and Annabelle at Botanic Gardens

My two silly boys

She seriously couldn't be any sweeter

"Look Mommy, a froggie!"
(Yes, it was a dried up dead frog - Yuck! Lol)

Hanging out at Overton Park

Watching the baby Hippo at the Zoo
(Bethany loves pulling up and standing)

She also loves being thrown in the air by her Daddy

Frank took a quick pic of me and the kids during an after dinner walk

****All 12 date night kids at the pool****
The Hills and Gardners graciously watched our kids while Frank and I were at a Conference one weekend. After almost seven years of weekly date nights these kids are more like brothers and sisters than just friends.

*********Kitchen Reno Continued**********

This chapter is called DEMO

We had a few surprises during the demo but Frank figured out a new plan to work around it

Benjamin wanted to keep the retro wallpaper

Bye-bye old kitchen! I won't miss you!
